Social Mission

Festyle believes that health, family wellness and home-cooking culture are crucial yet often neglected elements in our society. Empowering underprivileged housewives, we transform women household wisdom into products and services, extending the workforce, yielding commercial and social values.

Business Model

Festyle offers fresh and raw healthy home-made food packs, ready-to-eat catering and meal boxes with delivery service, cooperation and workshops with enterprises, with focus on different dining needs. Festyle’s experienced home-chefs delivers the home-cooking solution. They carefully handle food ingredients, take customers’ different dining needs into account when making food pack. They provide recipes and the taste of home-made food, which can be rarely found in restaurants and the market.

Founding Team

YIP Hiu Wai, Ding-ding, Managing Director

Ding-ding believes a simple heartwarming homemade meal helps bring the family together and serves as the foundation of a person’s physical and social well-being. She gathered genuine experience in the food and beverage industry and enjoys her different positions in previous jobs, ranging from frontline operations to back-office support. Ding-ding founded Festyle and won the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge with her team before graduation at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

CHAN Wai Yiu, Yo, Operations Director

Yo participated in organizing social movements since his undergraduate life and has been a reporter in Hong Kong In-media, both served him well with his organizational skills and the ability to co-operate with the mass media. Yo is passionate about social issues and was elected as one of the outstanding volunteers in Hong Kong Playground Association (2016).

Yo believes that social changes should derive from the structure system. He is now exploring and advocating the room for female empowerment and family-friendly working measures in Hong Kong.

Social Impact

Festyle has employed 20+ women with family-friendly, flexible working hours and opportunities with on-the job trainings, helping them return to work, while having generated 1600+ recipes.

Currently, 2 women have been upskilled to clerical and sales position. In terms of products and services, 13800+ cuisine boxes have been sold, serving 1100+ families with heart-warming cooking experience, turning 1200+ into products with commercial and social values.

Festyle has changed women’s lives by revitalizing their career and dream. They proudly showcase the cuisine and recipes designed by them on media reports.
